6. A handy gadget for raised paste
　 　I make a funnel shape with a sheet of cellophane paper for wrapping flowers or store bought and fold the openside to close.Put raised paste into the funnel shape gadget and squeeze out slowly on the surface of china just like decorating a cake.
We can keep the raised paste in good condition sasily.

Whenever I use it, I remove the small lump of raised paste on the point of the funnel shape.

　 　Yumiko Okumura's art book "A Wonderful World of Porcelain Art" has been published by "Bijutsu Shuppan-Sha"

　This book contains works of over 100 painters across the world,including Mrs.Yumiko Okumura herself.

　This is a great book that anyone would enjoy.

　I,myself also contributed in this book.


4. Handmade brush case......part2
　
I found my friend who has wonderful handmade brush case.


　The brush case is made of cardboard. She put stitches with elastic cord to hold it together and wrapped with Chiyogami. It is good for round brush and liner brush, not for square brush. The beads inside guard against collapsing.

3. Hand made brush case
　 　In my class there is a nice lady who has a beautiful handmade brush case. The brush case is made from Obi.

　Obi is woven silk and the fabric is solid and has beautiful color.

2. Special cleaner
　

　Sometimes dust drops on wet color during painting.It is the worst thing when dust drops on the part of face during painting a portrait because the dust can not be removed by tweezers or cotton tips.

　Using the wax covering cheese is convenient at that time.I was told this way by Brazilian painter Mr. Mario Watanabe few years ago. I crumple the wax into long and narrow shape and sharpen the top for easy use.

1. The brushes for gold work
　 　The brush for gold work has to be differentiated from color painting brush. The brush will harden if it is not cleaned well immediately after use.

　So I do like this way.

　Make a hole in the center of the cap of instant coffee bottle(usually the cap is made of plastic),and put gold oil in the bottle.Roll the brush in a piece of cloth,and insert whole thing into the hole of cap,brushes facing down.

　The brushes won't harden even not clean it because gold oil is volatile and condition the brushes.
